The Howard DGA-5 Ike is a quick-building scale parkflyer
Short kit available from Manzano Laser Works
Includes laser-cut balsa and ply components
Just like the original, this one loves to carve a smooth line up and down your local race course (or football field).
Designed to be light yet strong, it is a very docile model that can be flown by anyone with tail-dragger experience.
Fully illustrated CAD drawn plans are available from Flying Models Magazine. Click here
The model has been designed to take advantage of self-aligning laser-cut slot/tab construction.
The plans show all parts in full scale so the true scratch-builder can cut his own parts if desired.
